BACKGROUND
Already an established burger bar when approaching Revival in 2020, Rude Boy burger were looking to modify their existing shopfront to introduce a takeaway window, and refurbish their interior service area.
Revival lifted out the existing shopfront glazing and prepared a boutique structural engineering design using only recycled materials, to create the new service window. Adjacent exterior cladding was created to match the new internal design.
All materials used were salvaged from the site of Revival’s first Zero Footprint Repurposing hub in South Melbourne, which is also where all manufacture was completed. This repurposing hub has now been demolished to make way for new development, so all projects delivered from that space, using those materials, have truly left zero footprint.
